The second Hong Kong Library Festival partners with "ReNew Vision" to present the multimedia artwork “It All Begins with a Word”, which is inspired by pieces from renowned local writers. A set of Instagram filters featuring quotes from the works of these local writers is launched in parallel with the artwork. You may take photos to share your thoughts with friends while savouring the quotes. The set of filters is named “See and Read” as a parody to a popular hashtag in Chinese “見字飲水”, meaning drink water when you read this. We hope the filters serve to remind all of us that reading is like water. They are both extremely vital and easily accessible.
